Time to say Goodbye to the Summer
Well.....After a great summer in Oregon, We are headed off this morning

....We will be going to drive to Santa Cruz tonight to visit some Homies

....Then drive to Huntington for a couple of days

.....Then fly to Texas for a couple of weeks

......Then drive to California, where we will be settling. Please pray for our safe travels and for our future. We are most excited for what lays ahead of us.

Soul Dog
Back in 97' when I was working at Erlanger Hospital cafeteria in Redbank, Tennessee, a black man by the name of Chauz criticized my hotdog, and taught me how to make a "Soul Dog." I am forever grateful. Here is a soul dog I made today.

My friend Coby decided to challenge the Soul of my Dog, and created this beauty.

If anyone out there wants to try challenge these dags, send me a pic of a Chauz-worthy Soul Dog creation, and we'll match up the Soul. I heard once that Chauz made a Soul Dog with so much Soul, that if one held it at the right angle one could see the face of Bootsy Collins. Now that's a brand new flava in yo ear.

Get with the Times!
If the video on the last posts did not work, it is because they are H.264 compressed which requires Quicktime 7. To get Quicktime 7 click here. I highly recommend updating, for I shall be posting many more viddies on my blog.

Goodwill

Goodwills in Oregon are cool. They are WalMart size. The Goodwill in Bend has this sweet ad in the entrance. I think I saw this guy in a dream one time that went a little something like this.

Big Post
If you don't know already, I have left Hawaii after 8 years of service in Youth with a Mission. I am currently staying with Adam and his Grand Mother in Oregon for the Summer. Adam and I are helping manage "The Lakeside Bistro" at "Black Butte Ranch". After the Summer, we will be moving to Southern California where we will be working in graphic design. I have a new camera, so I have posted a bunch of random pics from our summer in Oregon so far. Enjoy...

Adam in His Bistro uniform with his Grandma.

A fly trying to escape from our pet flytrap at the bistro.

There's this guy that works at Black Butte named Ted that looks like Danny Cooksey from the Nickalodeon show "Salute your Shorts." I spotted him playing tennis in his uniform during his work break, so I snapped this sweet shot...He liked it.

Our good friends Slater and Emily from Bend. We hang out with these guys a lot.

We went to Corvalis, Oregon and visited our friends Mallory and Lynnae from Hawaii.

While in a 7eleven in Corvalis, I came across "RAP SNACKS." Each package features a picture of a rapper and an inspirational phrase like ,"Persue a college degree." When I saw these, I could only think about how prophetic the movie Bamboozled was.

We went and visited our good friends Andrew & Jessica Fouche in Eureka, California. It was great to hang out with them. Below are several pictures from our Eureka trip...
Foosh's City Softball League.

Hanging out in the Redwoods.

A kind homeless man took this picture. (His first time to ever use a camera)

Hanging out on a Jetty in Eureka.

In all my travels, the "Trees of Mystery" stop is one of my favorite road side oddities.

Hanging out with Babe.

One of the things we are looking foward to ,living in California.
Alright.....I'm done for now.
